Abstract

China's Secret Code: The System of State Governance explores the institutional foundations and operational mechanisms of China’s governance system. The book analyzes the distinctive characteristics and advantages of China’s political and administrative institutions under socialism with Chinese characteristics. It explains how the governance system integrates the leadership of the Communist Party of China (CPC), state institutions, and social organizations to manage national development and social affairs. The work interprets the thirteen major strengths of China’s state system and governance structure, emphasizing the role of centralized leadership, people-centered governance, rule of law, economic coordination, social management, and national unity. It also discusses how China mobilizes resources for major national tasks, strengthens cultural and ideological cohesion, and promotes development through institutional innovation.
