Abstract

This commemorative publication marks the 55th anniversary of key milestones in China–Tanzania relations, including Mwalimu Julius Nyerere’s first state visit to China, the signing of the China–Tanzania Friendship Treaty, and Premier Zhou Enlai’s official visit to Tanzania. Compiled by the Chinese Embassy in Tanzania, the book highlights the historical foundations of bilateral cooperation through photographs, archival materials, and narrative accounts. It emphasizes the enduring diplomatic, political, and economic ties between the two countries and reflects on their shared commitment to friendship and development
