Abstract
This book explores the theory and practice of rural construction in China within the broader process of rural modernization. It analyzes how traditional rural systems are being transformed through economic reform, institutional change, and modernization policies aimed at revitalizing rural areas. The author examines the evolution of rural development strategies, highlighting the transition from agriculture-centered production to diversified rural economies and integrated urban–rural development.
The work also addresses key challenges facing rural China, including disparities in infrastructure, environmental pressures, and governance issues. It emphasizes the importance of sustainable development, social organization, and policy innovation in promoting rural revitalization. By combining theoretical analysis with practical insights, the book argues that rural construction is a crucial pathway for achieving comprehensive modernization and improving the livelihoods of rural populations in China, aligning with national strategies for long-term development.
