Abstract
This book examines the concept of “whole-process people’s democracy” as developed and practiced in China. It explains how democratic participation is integrated into all stages of governance, including decision-making, implementation, and supervision. The author discusses the theoretical foundations of this model within the framework of socialism with Chinese characteristics, emphasizing the role of the Communist Party, institutional mechanisms, and public involvement. The book also highlights how this approach differs from Western democratic systems, presenting it as a comprehensive and continuous form of democratic governance adapted to China’s national conditions.
