Abstract
The book features a compilation of 32 interview style accounts documenting Xi Jinping's visits to the homes of ordinary citizens of China. It spans more than 30 provinces and autonomous regions across China from 2012-2021, each chapter details specific regions triumphs. It tracks the modern transformations of everyday families in locations like Hebei, Xinjiang, Shaanxi and Guizhou. It further highlights how macroeconomic blueprints materialize into everyday improvements like newer housing, cleaner environments and local tourism industries. It serves as a narrative testament to the communist Party's domestic policies and it's targeted anti-poverty campaigns.
