Abstract
This book provides a comprehensive analysis of China’s evolving governance model, focusing on the modernization of its institutional system and governing capacity in the new era. It explores how China integrates the roles of the Communist Party, government institutions, market actors, and social organizations into a coordinated governance framework often described as “pluralism under one core.”
The author examines key dimensions of governance, including institutional construction, administrative reform, economic management, social welfare systems, and environmental governance. By drawing on interdisciplinary perspectives such as public administration, political science, and economics, the book highlights how China promotes a people-centered approach while enhancing efficiency, accountability, and policy coordination.
In addition, the work discusses innovations in areas such as urban governance, community-level participation, emergency management, and ecological civilization. It argues that China’s governance modernization reflects both theoretical development and practical experience, offering a distinct model shaped by national conditions and socialist principles. Overall, the book serves as an important resource for understanding the structure, logic, and evolution of contemporary Chinese governance.
