China’s collective leadership analyzes the historical development, operational mechanisms, and governance functions of China’s collective leadership system. The work traces how collective leadership evolved through different political eras, explains how leadership mechanisms such as division of responsibilities, collective decision-making, and collaborative governance operate within the Communist Party of China (CPC), and explores the system’s institutional innovations and competitive advantages in governance. The book highlights the role of collective leadership in enhancing political stability, policy coordination, and institutional confidence within China’s unique political context.
