Abstract

Fighting COVID-19: China in Action is an official white paper documenting China's response to the COVID-19 outbreak during the first several months of 2020. Published by the State Council Information Office in June 2020, the document describes the development of the epidemic, measures taken to contain transmission, medical treatment and resource mobilization, and the coordination of social and economic activities. It divides China's response into five stages, beginning with the initial response to the public-health emergency in December 2019 and continuing through ongoing prevention and control after April 2020.
