Abstract
Law-based Governance: A New Journey to Law-Based Governance examines the development and significance of governing China through law within the framework of Xi Jinping’s governance philosophy. The book explains the concept of comprehensive law-based governance as a key component of modernizing China’s national governance system and improving governance capacity. It discusses the historical evolution of the rule-of-law framework in China, emphasizing the importance of strengthening legislation, ensuring strict law enforcement, promoting fair judicial practices, and cultivating public awareness of legal norms. The authors also analyze institutional reforms designed to improve administrative governance, enhance legal institutions, and integrate legal principles into economic, political, and social management. Overall, the work presents law-based governance as a strategic approach to maintaining social stability, promoting development, and building a socialist rule-of-law state in contemporary China
